This guesthouse and restaurant has been operating since 1923, and boasts dining, a bar and café with great views of the Pittwater. Their operating hours are lunch 11.30am to 3pm while dinner starts at 6pm till late. Their international cuisine includes Australian King Prawns, an Italian Seafood Stew, Coq au Vin, steaks and fish dishes. They also a good selection of sweet dishes, including delicious gelato and affegato, a coffee based gelato dessert covered with a hot espresso. The Stone Fruit Creme Brulee is delish.

The Boathouse Palm Beach
Open for breakfast and lunch (till 3pm) they are fully licensed with a wine b.y.o., if you want to bring a special wine you may have been saving. They have acquired quite a distinction for tasty food, probably by keeping their menu straighforward and fresh. They have a cold seafood platter with rock oysters, trout paté, smoked trout, tiger prawns and other freshly caught treats. Or try the daily catch Market Fish if you like it fresh.

Club Palm Beach is the official RSL club here, with a good reasonably priced lunch and dining Bistro. They have a changing menu, dependent on the season, but also have mains such as Roast of the Day, Rump Steak, Fish, a beer garden and excellent bar facilities which can be expected at an RSL.
