At the Blue Pool, there is a protected rock pool for swimming.
Just South of Bermagui is Cuttagee Beach. Good for surfing, as are the beaches of Camel Rock, Beares Beach, Mooreheads Beach and Haywards Beach.
Moorheads Beach and Haywards Beach stretch northwards from Bermagui at the end of Tilba Road.
Wallaga Lake
Nearby National Parks and Nature Reserves provide even more. Wallaga Lake, just north of Bermagui is the largest lake on the South Coast and has camping sites, great spots for swimming and fishing, exploratory walks and native animals to see (if your quiet). You can hire boats as well here.
At Wallaga Lake, you can stay at one of the three caravan parks with lakeside camping sites and cabin accommodation.
Game Fishing
Game fishing is big in Bermagui - Charters are available. A fishing fleet is based here, fresh catch is available is available at the Co-Op at the wharf and in restaurants and places to eat in town.
