Parks and Gardens

Lovers of nature, green spaces and natural beauty will find the Sydney region has wonderful parks and gardens. Ringed by National Parks to the south, west and north, visiting Australian bush is only a few hours drive, to the east, are the many beaches and their backing green areas.

In the centre of Sydney, almost all visitors are attracted to the Sydney Harbour National Park, which protects a good part of the foreshores on the harbour and its islands.

An enjoyable way to enjoy the harbour - a short ride on the ferry to Manly or to historical Parramatta. The Botanical Gardens next to the Opera House also give magnificent views.
