Having considerable experience with koalas and their protection, the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane Queensland has more than 130 koalas and other Australian animals, including platypus, that you can view close-up.

They also have a wonderful bird of prey show. Other shows include your chance to learn about Australian snakes, kangaroos, lorrikeets, platypus and tasmanian devils.

There is suitable access and facilities for the disabled, including parking. BBQ facilities are also available, or you can just enjoy a coffee or a complete meal at the in their covered courtyard, with koalas in full view.
