Blue Waterholes
Blue Waterholes: Perfect for a peaceful retreat: A stunning area with crystal-clear water, caves and waterfalls. If you are planning to hike the Clarke Gorge and Nichols Gorge walking tracks, the Blue Holes campground is a great place to base yourself. From here, you can also explore the historic huts and the natural surrounds of the Northern Plains and Wilderness area of the Kosciuszko NP.
At the campsite itself, just down a short track, is the turquoise blue waterhole. There are also views of the limestone cliffs, the Clarke Gorge rock formations and Cave Creek. Curious kangaroos hop on by, while there are eagles to be seen overhead.
